LAW PRACTICE:
Alex Vogel, a partner with the firm, began his practice of law with O’Neil, Parker & Williamson in 2004. Mr. Vogel devotes his practice to general civil litigation with a focus on personal injury litigation. He also handles cases in the areas of products liability, premises liability, insurance defense, insurance coverage, insurance subrogation, contract law, construction law, governmental entity defense, and general tort litigation. He has extensive experience in briefing and arguing numerous summary judgment motions as well as appellate briefs.

Mr. Vogel is admitted to the U.S. District Court for East Tennessee and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals as well as all levels of state courts.

Mr. Vogel is a native of Knoxville and graduated from Webb School of Knoxville.

RECENT RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
Successfully defended individuals and business entities to the conclusion and satisfaction of his clients.

Participated in numerous mediations of personal injury cases at all stages of litigation to the conclusion and satisfaction of his clients.

Obtained summary judgment for school system in case alleging violation of constitutional rights for student regarding display of inappropriate clothing. Case was affirmed by the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Submitted several appellate court briefs leading to or affirming the dismissal of his clients’ cases in both the state and federal courts.
